WORLD BEE DAY 2026
As part of World Bee Day, May 20, 2026; Expo 2031 Minnesota USA will officially launch a Global Pollinator Network a collaborative initiative designed to connect growers, agricultural leaders, gardens, educators, pollinator organizations, technology innovators, and public institutions around pollinator stewardship, agricultural resilience, horticultural education, and public engagement.
The Global Pollinator Network is intended to help make pollinator awareness practical,
accessible, and visible for communities, families, industries, and future generations through education, technology, gardens, and shared public experiences.
By bringing together agriculture, horticulture, conservation, tourism, and innovation leaders, Expo 2031 aims to showcase how pollinator stewardship supports food systems, working landscapes, biodiversity, and healthier communities — while positioning Minnesota and the United States as leaders in horticultural innovation and public engagement.


WE'RE APPROVED

U.S. FEDERAL APPROVAL
Expo 2031 Minnesota USA is proud to announce that the United States Government has formally granted federal approval for America’s first A1 International Horticultural Exposition. The designation confirms full support from the Trump Administration for this globally significant, six-month exposition to be hosted in Dakota County from May–October 2031.
With this federal approval, the United States signals to the global community its readiness to welcome participating nations, industry leaders, and millions of visitors to an exposition showcasing the future of horticulture, agriculture, resilient energy infrastructure, food and water systems, health and wellbeing, and future technologies.
Expo 2031 Minnesota USA is officially approved by the International Association of Horticultural Producers (AIPH) as an A1 International Horticultural Exhibition — the highest global classification for international horticultural expos. As the official rights holder, Expo 2031 Minnesota, USA will organize and host the first A1 International Horticultural Exposition in United States history, under the authority of the AIPH.
AIPH GOVERNING BODY APPROVAL
Expo 2031 Minnesota, USA will welcome the world to celebrate the power of plants, people, and innovation. This six-month international exhibition will unite global leaders in horticulture, agriculture, technology, energy, water, health, and design to shape a meaningful future. Officially approved by the AIPH, Expo 2031 marks a historic milestone as America’s first A1 International Horticultural Exhibition — a world-class event rooted in Minnesota’s legacy of innovation, community, and natural beauty.

GLOBAL HORTICULTURE COUNCIL
Expo 2031 Minnesota USA is convening leaders across horticulture, agriculture, technology, infrastructure, health and wellbeing, tourism, education, water, energy, and biodiversity at the intersection of Human / Nature, where humanity and horticulture meet.
Through the Global Horticulture Council, Expo 2031 is bringing together industry sectors, growers, innovators, institutions, and global thought leaders to help design and shape the first International Horticultural Exposition in U.S. history.
The Council serves as a collaborative platform for foresight, innovation, and partnership development helping guide how gardens, agriculture, public spaces, technology, infrastructure, and human experience can work together to create healthier, more resilient, and more connected communities for future generations.
From pollinator stewardship and food systems to tourism, workforce development, and next-generation visitor experiences, the Global Horticulture Council is helping position Expo 2031 as a living showcase of American leadership, innovation, and horticultural excellence on a global stage.
