Expo 2031 Minnesota, USA leaders, Wendy Meadley, CEO and David Loehr, Chief Strategy Officer joined the University of Minnesota Design School Expo Studio course for the Fall semester.
As a rich educational exercise, Section 2 of the cohort imagines design aspects plotted in Spring Lake Park (this is conceptual, not the determined site of Expo 2031)
Carl Kopecke and Wanjing Ji's cohort from Professor Dingliang Yang's Design Class set to bring a fresh, youthful viewpoint to some aspects of a World Horticultural Exposition in Minnesota as recommended by Expo 2031 leaders.

"We were pleased to once again support and collaborate with Professor Yang and the University of Minnesota College of Design to lend a real world lens to the content design and jury process of the course", shares Wendy Meadley, CEO, Expo 2031 Minnesota, USA. "We look to have a full range of voices shaping how we design a real World Horticultural Exposition here in Minnesota. These students provide invaluable insight because they are not constrained to many of the real world aspects or conditions. This can produce new sparks of ideas for David Loehr and our design team to incorporate into our Expo 2031 Master Plan.
