Last week, Expo 2031 Minnesota USA convened its Official Partners and team together at SRF Consulting Group and virtually for a strategic planning session about the road ahead.

Our Next Phase Expo 2031 Minnesota USA planning represents an important shift.

Now that Expo has a Home, the question is no longer simply:

What could Expo 2031 be?

And, the next question is:

How do we build it together?

Expo 2031 has been advancing through an international and national process while simultaneously building the partnerships, site framework and legacy vision necessary to move the project toward 2031.

Now the next stage requires a broader network.

Tourism leaders.

Businesses.

Horticulture organizations.

Agriculture.

Technology companies.

Universities.

Healthcare and wellbeing organizations.

Cultural institutions.

Communities.

Foundations.

Government partners.

International participants.

COLLABORATIVE PARTNERS WELCOME / AN EVOLVING ECOSYSTEM

And organizations interested in helping create the programs, experiences and infrastructure that will ultimately define Expo 2031.

Some partners may help design programming.

Others may contribute technology or expertise.

Some may develop visitor experiences.

Others may convene industries or communities.

And some will build relationships that ultimately connect Minnesota and the United States with countries and organizations around the world.

The approach is intentionally collaborative.

Many of the most important elements of Expo 2031 should not be designed solely by the Expo organization.

They should be developed with the industries, institutions and communities they are intended to represent.

That collaborative work begins well before 2031.

WHAT'S NEXT

The years ahead will include international recruitment, tourism development, horticultural programming, commercial partnerships, education, research, cultural exchange and preparation for millions of individual visitor experiences.

Each stage creates an opportunity to participate.
